This release introduce, support for https://the-next.eliterature.org/ entries. We have have improved the ORCID validation and URL generated in persons records. The new header and footer enabled us to increase the site font sizes without running out of space. It should improve the readability in general but also for visual impaired and users on small screens. Stub records should look better by us introducing a "sticky footer". This stops this section from floating up into the content.

Finally a version that also introduces changes to the site design. We are brightening up site, dropping most of the old colors that have been part of ELMCIP for the last 7 years. We improve the general accessibility by increasing the contrasts and legibility. The header visual footprint is also reduced allowing more screen real estate to be available for the electronic literature entries.

The rest of new site design will be introduced in the Drupal 9 version coming soon. Design work is was done by the wonderful Lucila Mayol.

Mostly module and Drupal core security updates. We are currently migrating ELMCIP and CELL from Drupal 7 to 9 and are holding back on all new features until we can implement them directly in Drupal 9.

Happy new year everyonw. 2021 have so far been terrifying though we still managed to relases on 11.11.2021 V1.36 with quite a few interface changes and tighter cellproject.net integration.

• New layout of ELCIP news/blog section.
• Introduce footer menues. We are moving meny items from the page header to the footer menus. The header is in the future getting smaller freeing up more screen space for article content.
• Improments in the local and test site staging scripts and integration. Makes it easier to stage, maintaine and develop the CELL code base.

We rounded of 2020 14.12.2020 by releasing V1.35. This relase is mostly about CELL and us formally taking over the production and maintainance of https://cellproject.net site.

Version 1.30 is out. As usual have we addressed problems and introduced improvements. We also now support ORCID on persons records. Ciritcal writing and creative work now support DOI information.

This finalizes a long ongoing work, moving ELMCIP to a new infrastructure. ELMCIP have previously been hosted on Norstore, a more "old school" virtual machine system, but is now running in Docker containers and Kubernetes fancy swarm. This changes nothing for our end users but everything for system administrators and developers. Meaning, how the system is maintained and how we stages tests instances and do local development.

Mostly security changes and adjustments to project code to better match the new infrastructure and minor bug fixes.

The ELMCIP Electronic Literature Knowledge Base (​https://elmcip.net/knowledgebase​), an open-access, contributory research database, was launched in 2010 as part of the HERA-funded ELMCIP (Electronic Literature as a Model of Creativity and Innovation in Practice: Developing a Network-Based Creative Community). During and after the ELMCIP grant period (2010-2013), the Knowledge Base grew to become the most substantial research database in the field. The database now includes more than 12,000 records documenting creative works, critical writing, authors, publishers, organizations, events, teaching resources, databases and archives in the field of electronic literature, and is used on a daily basis by researchers around the world.
